About the role
You will provide leadership and technical skills for project planning, budgeting, programming, engineering, design, execution and construction of shore facilities. You will render technical decisions/recommendations on situations, questions, and/or problems relating to scheduling, funding, project coordination, and contract interpretations. You will provide guidance, training, and mentoring in the area of project management to the project management staff within the ECH III and IV commands. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide consistency across NAVFAC on issues such as alternate project delivery methodologies, acquisition strategies, acquisition planning, funding, source selection, and scheduling. You will provide support to DC field components and acquisition in the areas of project management, general engineering, and contract requirements to make good business decisions on contract requirements, funding, and/or contract determinations.
