Supervisory Information Technology Specialist

Direct IT mission support services to ensure the reliability, availability, and delivery of critical mission capabilities. Provide technical leadership and oversight for a worldwide customer base in all supported Information Technology (IT) areas. Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting priorities and schedules for completion. Develop command-level Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and provide input to new command IT policies. Evaluate operational effectiveness based on mission accomplishment, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. Identify the training and development needs of employees, making provisions for or providing required training. Perform vulnerability assessments to ensure internal control systems are operative and government resources are effectively managed. Manage position and personnel actions, including interviewing and recommending candidates for appointments, promotions, or reassignments.
