About the role
As an Enforcement Officer, you will perform the following duties: Conduct inspections and patrols of fishing vessels, fish carriers, and any establishment where fish and seafood are landed and sold. Conduct short-term investigations involving violations of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) statutes. Conduct and assist other law enforcement agencies in performing aerial, at-sea, and on land patrols, conducting interviews, gathering evidence, conducting search and seizures, apprehending violators, and making arrests. Testify in criminal court and civil proceedings involving violations of Federal and State law; maintain investigative documents used for preparing case files. Provide additional support in a variety of law enforcement activities, such as assisting with search warrants, special agent investigations, and illegal, unreported, and unregulated imports of seafood and wildlife.
