About the role
Duties include but are limited to: Develops courses and implements general training plans designed to enable individuals and groups to develop knowledge and skills of the Community Care program Plans and sets broad objectives for multiple training programs and serves as a resource to the Community Care management team in determining training needs. Responsible for keeping pace with new programs, such as Veterans Choice as changes are published and communicates necessary information to individuals or groups; delivers presentations suited to the characteristics, and needs of the audience. Maintains knowledge of current information related to non-VA care regulations and seeks continuing education in all phases. Participates in regular meetings with the objective of solving problems, brainstorming, and educating staff and others as to the policies and procedures of the Community Care program.
