About the role
You will ensure that Marine Corps units are equipped, trained, and prepared to execute their missions in support of naval and joint objectives. You will serve as a key advisor to the Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (COMMARFORPAC), providing recommendations on the employment of Marine Corps forces in maritime and amphibious operations. You will develop plans and provide logistics and administrative support to subordinate forces/personnel. You will determine budget status and track compliance with higher headquarters (HHQ) policies and directives. You will directly supervise five general and special staff assistants at a major command headquarters, i.e., 1 O-4, 1 GS-14, and 3 GS-13s. You will translate Sub-Unified Command intent into policies and orders. You will track personnel, equipment, and logistics readiness status.
