PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR NF4 (BASE EDUCATION CENTER)

The incumbent serves in a trust and confidence position, possesses and maintains competencies in the area of employment, education, vocational/technical, and personal financial management disciplines, and provides information, advice and guidance to Marines and their families. Helps clients assess their values, interests, abilities and skills and relate these to opportunities for employment, education, training and life skills. Liaises with unit commanders to promote the use of advisement services. Administers and interprets psychometric tests and personality inventories. Provides initial assessment of the client¿s career and personal readiness circumstances and provides basic advice in order to aid the process of supporting their individual development plan.
