About the role
You will be responsible for the life cycle, in-service engineering, and new acquisitions support for the SCS on US Navy Amphibious Ship Classes. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing effective and efficient technical solutions across various Amphibious US Navy Ship Classes to optimize the design, integration and testing of control systems and networks. You will be responsible for the cybersecurity of assigned systems, including but not limited to establishing requirements, testing, updates, and system accreditation. You will work with a team to apply expertise in cyber security to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems, networks, and data through information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and goals. You will create artifacts to document history, along with databases and training tools to increase lessons learned and to improve overall product provide to the fleet to increase efficiency, performance safety, and reliability.
