About the role
As a IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)-TITLE 32, GS-2210-11, you will conduct audits of information systems compliance related to security standards, guides, and application updates to ensure accreditation of all systems IAW with all security directives, policies, and procedures. Ensure that all elements are in compliance with guidance concerning accreditation of automated information systems, risk management, control of computer viruses, and other similar issues. Review Army Training and Certification Tracking System, approve new user accounts, and conduct ongoing audits to ensure all privileged and user accounts comply with Army Standards. Conduct investigation of security incidents, report findings to leadership and remediate findings. Review submissions proposing changes to network or information systems and makes recommendations to senior cybersecurity team lead.
