About the role
The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as the Senior Air Reserve Technician (ART) officer with overall supervision and management of either an Aircraft Generation Squadron (AGS), a Maintenance Squadron (MS), a Rescue Squadron (RQS), a Flying Squadron (FS), or a Logistics Support Squadron (LSS) and, as such, has final accountability for all phases of squadron administrative activities. Duty 1: Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the squadron. Manages assigned logistics resources and ensures production to meet operational requirements and technical standards. Duty 2: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher-level management or headquarters. Duty 3: Represents organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
