EPIDEMIOLOGIST

Plan and execute short and long-range epidemiological studies/assignments/projects and/or health/disease/injury investigations or analysis aimed at identifying risk factors for specialized assigned area. Conduct continuous surveillance of available medical related informational databases. Design a plan of action (i.e. project design and objectives), selecting and applying the most promising approach(es), development and review of study protocols, making necessary modifications or implementing new approaches to solve problems Prepare technical reports, bulletins, briefs, instructions, regulations, training materials and sections of field manuals for guidance and dissemination within the military medical community channels. Advise and develop recommendations regarding specialized assigned area.
