About the role
As a Supervisory Environmental and Social Risk Specialist (Deputy Vice President), you will: Provide strategic direction and leadership on the policies and approach of the Environmental & Social (E&S) Risk Assessment Division. Oversee operational implementation of the division's activities and consistent application of policies and procedures to environmental and social due diligence and clearances of potential investments; oversee and direct the management of environmental and social performance of active projects. Direct, coordinate, and oversee work through subordinate supervisors. Oversee ODP's responses to internal and external stakeholder comments and responses as they relate to E&S matters. Lead the development of thought leadership on environmental and social matters, policies, processes, and procedures and represent DFC and the Office of Development Policy in external events and panels on environmental and social risk matters.
