ASSOCIATE CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

The ACIO for Client Experience Center (CEC) is responsible for developing and administering Department-wide Information Technology (IT) Management principles, policies, and objectives in consultation with USDA agencies and staff offices. Manage a major service desk and incident\problem management program to define expected service delivery standards and maintain an IT architecture. Provides management leadership, guidance, expert, advice, and collaboration among USDA agencies in developing, promoting, and maintaining the agency's end-user IT infrastructure program. Manages an Information Technology Program which responds to USDA, OMB, and Congressional stakeholder’s progress and accomplishments including all reporting required by the Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002. Ensures that information security policies, principles, standards, operations, and guidelines are implemented appropriately throughout the organization.
