INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

You will serve as an INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST and be responsible for collecting, reviewing, evaluating, interpreting, and performing first order analysis of intelligence on all maritime threats in and around the ports and coastal waterways, producing intelligence reports, and disseminating tactical and operational intelligence to the port level operational commander and staff. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Oversees and develops major intelligence partnerships across interagency, including DoW, DHS, DOJ, and local Law Enforcement. Obtains and disseminates intelligence from/across this network utilizing meetings, databases (HSIN, etc), and internal FIR reporting. Obtains open source and finished intelligence to answer priority requirements. Monitors open source/networks for relevant intelligence or information.
