About the role
As a Senior Program Analyst (Safety Policy), you will: Oversee efforts to design, develop, implement, and evaluate national level policy, including strategies, plans, rulemaking documents, public notices, guidance, training, and technical assistance. Lead oversight efforts of regulated stakeholders and carries out reviews, audits, or examinations to determine compliance with applicable laws and agency regulations. Interact directly with internal departmental, interagency, and civic working groups and stakeholders, to address cross-cutting issues. Participate in the design and development of research and data analysis products using quantitative and qualitative analytic techniques. Develop and deliver guidance and technical assistance to stakeholders to advance policy implementation.
