Program Analyst

Responsible for the evaluation and analysis of CMS workforce management programs in order to improve organizational/ operational efficiency and effectiveness and to develop long-range and short-range goals and objectives. Conducts studies and prepares analytical reports recommending new and improved methods of operations or uses of existing resources and programs. Presents study data, options, and recommendations to the Director, managers and staff, other program and administrative staff and negotiates resolution of administrative and management problems on behalf of the Division. Identifies opportunities for automation and serves as subject matter expert with technology staff for existing systems. Identifies best practices and advises leadership on how they could be adopted within CMS. Develops and coordinates data calls and annual enterprise- wide activities to include internal processing and review procedures.
