About the role
You will develop, review, and implement safety policies and curriculum based on higher-level naval instructions (e.g., OPNAVINST 1500.75 series). You will conduct formal inspections, audits, and surveillance of training programs to ensure compliance with safety and instructional standards. You will act as an authoritative consultant and subject matter expert to senior leadership on all matters related to high-risk training safety and program management. You will plan, schedule, and conduct on-site assessments and technical assistance visits. You will conduct inspections on helicopter rope suspension training, military static-line and free-fall parachute operations, close quarters combat training and combatant craft and maritime operations.
