About the role
You will provide leadership and guidance to investigators and IG staff regarding roles, responsibilities, policies and functions of the Office of Inspector General (OIG). You will supervise staff and assign work based on functional position, higher-headquarters, command and OIG priorities. You will provide technical advice to the Inspector General (IG) and Echelon III Commanders and their leadership teams in the areas of command evaluations, inspections and investigations. You will provide overall management of investigations, inquiries, implementing fraud, waste, abuse, and other impropriety prevention programs throughout the command. You will establish quality control as required, ensuring conformance to standards established by the Council of the Inspector General on Integrity and Efficiency and the Naval Inspector General (NAVINSGEN).
