Provide professional consultations on a broad range of difficult technical issues and problems related to hydropower facilities. Develop inspection, maintenance, and repair standards for hydropower equipment. Provide professional technical guidance to other employees involved in hydropower engineering processes. Serve as the field engineering Point of Contact (POC) for other districts, divisions, and customers on hydropower engineering matters. Review architectural and engineering statements of work and prepare project time schedules and cost estimates. Provide technical review of design calculations, analyses, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project objectives.
