Interdisciplinary

Advise stakeholders on matters involving the technical evaluation of areas such as a broad range of new, traditional and/or rapid acquisition systems. Represent the organization at program-related meetings to provide comprehensive input to acquisition decision makers regarding test planning/safety products. Mentor project teams in areas such as ensuring test scope, cost estimate, and schedule accurately reflects areas such as evaluator and customer needs. Advise leadership on the technical evaluation of acquisition systems. Formulate internal technical policies/procedures within the limits of which all test functions are accomplished. Review directorate test plans/safety products to ensure technical quality. Responsible for managing testing programs to ensure that safety evaluation objectives are achieved. Direct developmental testing missions by approving test support orders to ensure test activities are planned/estimated in accordance with applicable regulations.
