Nurse (Clinical/Perioperative)

Provides comprehensive and professional nursing care for patients in the Perioperative Services Section. Determines the patient's physical condition from nursing assessment. Coordinates with physicians and other staff preoperatively to develop a multidisciplinary, intraoperative plan of care. Performs preoperative and postoperative patient visits Teaches staff, patient and family regarding disease process such as pre and post-operative care and diagnostic procedures.
