Teller

Accountable for collection of inpatient and outpatient charges, third party charges, search fees, cosmetic surgery charges, and meals served. Responsible for receipting, safekeeping, and accounting for patient’s funds and valuables deposited with the fund in accordance with AR 40-400. Discharges patients from the hospital by inputting data into computerized accounting system. Coordinate with cosmetic surgery clinics to ensure payment for such services are paid in advance. Conducts verification of other health insurance eligibility and covered benefits.
