Lead Contract Specialist

Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within the Office of Contracting and are assigned based on the need of the agency. Lead a team of contract specialists and a senior contract specialist to award quality contracts timely. Ensure compliance with and provide direction for all Federal, DHS and USCIS policy procedures, and regulations. Partners with program offices and legal counsel to ensure effective, efficient, and compliant contracting solutions. Advise higher level management on acquisition-related issues that are of concern. Participates as lead negotiator of multi-disciplined government negotiation teams and directs the analysis of team evaluations.
