IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (NETWORK/INFOSEC)

Performs tests and troubleshoots network systems supported by the section or branch. Manages global DoDNET local area network tasks, enabling DISA personnel to utilize critical IT tools for worldwide mission accomplishment. Manages global DoDNET hardware/OS configurations and CM. Conducts systems and security optimization per VMS, JTF-GNO, and DISC Security Office standards to ensure worldwide network integrity and compliance. Writes network/system, program, operations, implementation, and user documentation using accepted creative and technical writing techniques. Reviews and studies software systems, programs, and packages developed by other organizations or commercial vendors for implementation on the DoDNET.
