About the role
You will perform welding operations on nuclear and non-nuclear piping and pressure vessels. You will work on high pressure and high temperature piping systems and on other systems that carry gases or liquids that is extremely volatile or lethal. You will work on main coolant and associated reactor plant systems that demand a very high quality standard of workmanship. You will provide direction to helpers, apprentices, and firewatchers. You will perform both structural and Class P-1 piping weldments on nuclear and non-nuclear submarine and surface ships. You will use a variety of welding processes and equipment in performing high precision weldments.
