About the role
The Office of Communications has the lead responsibility for managing and delivering the public service aspectof OIG's mission, with particular emphasis on developing and maintaining relationships with internal andexternal stakeholders, including the media and other special constituencies. The Office of Communicationsmanages and directs OIG's communication program and disseminates OIG work products and messages to theDepartment and the public. Duties for the Visual Information Specialist, GS-09/11 include but not limited to: Serves as a Visual Information Specialist in support of the HHS OIG Office of Communications, contributing creative expertise to high-visibility projects. Plans, conceptualizes, and develops compelling visual information products for diverse audiences. Designs a wide range of visual materials-including illustrations, graphics, diagrams, charts, models, slides, and other multimedia-for publications, websites, exhibits, live events, and video-recorded communications.
