About the role
In this position, you will serve as Auditor. Typical work assignments include: Conducting audits and special reviews, ensuring full compliance with U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book) and Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE) Quality Standards for Auditing. Preparing, evaluating, and writing conclusions, findings, and reports on audits and special reviews of awardee financial integrity and compliance with NEA and Federal requirements, the economy and efficiency of operations, and program results. Interpreting agency policies and provisions to develop audit and special review procedures, instructions, work plans, and schedules. Providing awardees technical assistance in the area of financial compliance and internal controls. Conducting quality control reviews of other audit work and draft reports. Performing other related duties as assigned.
