Consult with health experts and reviews the medical and scientific literature to obtain information for improving clinical practice and measures. Develop health care quality improvement policies and procedures for use in evaluation and assessment of CMS programs designed to improve the care CMS program recipients and beneficiaries receive. Develop and implement nursing care standards and clinical guidelines for a multi-facility healthcare organization, resulting in improved patient outcomes and regulatory compliance. Lead a cross-functional team in developing clinical quality measurement tools used to evaluate the effectiveness of a statewide patient safety.
