About the role
If selected for the GS-11 position, your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Work with other database specialist to design, implement and maintain highly flexible database infrastructures capable of supporting both large and small applications on those platforms. Provide support for developing, monitoring, and maintaining multiple databases or applications and diagnose and resolve data management problems and issues. Implement database standards, procedures and guidelines; and participate in the planning of future database expansion, enhancements, and selection. Apply database changes and testing for vendor maintenance fixes and new releases, conduct tests, and evaluate database package tools.
