About the role
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Wing Plans and Programs, ensuring the plans and programs office complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Directs Mission Assurance and Interagency Coordination. Directs and manages the 42d Air Base Wing's Mission Assurance (MA) Program, ensuring the installation can execute all mission-essential functions across the full spectrum of threats and hazards. Serves as the wing's senior expert on MA, advising leadership and ensuring compliance with DoW and Air Force directives. Provides strategic advisory and analysis. Serves as the principal advisor to the Wing Commander and senior leadership on all matters related to strategic planning, mission sustainment, and operational readiness.
