TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (PASSENGER)

Makes complete travel arrangements for Permanent Change of Station (PCS) and Temporary Duty (TDY) travelers. Reviews travel orders and determines entitlements for active duty military, reserve component members, Department of Defense (DoD) civilians, and dependents for worldwide travel to include remote and isolated sites. Issues travel documentation. Reviews and verifies travel authorizations and determines special allowances such as excess baggage limitations, car rental, as well as mode of transportation authorized. Performs other clerical and administrative tasks in support of the transportation work.
