About the role

Serves as a primary point of contact for all counseling-related issues within the Agency. Periodically analyze pre-complaint trends and identify areas of concern and/or make recommendations for improvement. Investigates sensitive pre-complaints, submits reports and makes resolution recommendations to appropriate officials. Conducts detailed studies (e.g., program reviews, climate assessment surveys/focus groups) to identify systemic pre-complaint problem areas in all employment components, e.g., under representation, grade-structures of women and minorities, etc. Counsel employees and job applicants who believe they have been discriminated against. Ensures the timely, fair, and impartial consideration and disposition of EEO complaints. Compiles and analyzes various data to evaluate progress on individual initiatives and overall program; identifies areas in need of improvement; and recommends specific remedial initiatives to address identified problems.
