SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN)

Serves as Chief of an Emerging Technology Division, performing strategic planning, programming, and budgeting for new programs. Responsible for oversight of the execution of engineering programs/tasks. Analyzes work products for internal consistency, standardization, integration, quality assurance, and compliance with applicable DOD plans, policies, procedures, specifications, and standards. Supervises several military and civilian personnel and establishes clear expectations for personnel assigned, effectively delegates work, monitors progress, and motivates employees. Keeps abreast of innovative state of the art computer technology and evaluates new computer technology for applicability to and for insertion into information systems.
