About the role
The primary purpose of this position is: As an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Officer provides overall management for program integration/execution requirements for an operational flying aeromedical evacuation squadron (AES). DUTIES: Duty 1: Provides administrative oversight of operational unit activities; Provides oversight for assigned and issued organization equipment. Duty 2: Establishes and executes mission, organizational, budget/fiscal, staffing, and flying requirements to meet prescribed mission capability. Duty 3: Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities for a small workforce. Duty 4: Oversees unit aeromedical training programs to ensure assigned personnel are adequately trained to perform operational AE mission. Duty 5: Represents the aeromedical evacuation operations function to external agencies to include wing, NAF, and HQ functional representatives, and establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships to further organizational goals.
