About the role
The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. Provides information and assistance with monitoring procedures and other factors related to the identification and correction of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive hazards. Recommends policies and procedures for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive hazard control program for APHIS management. Evaluates employee health testing needs, as related to occupational hazards within the Agency, Department and Federal and State governments. Establishes and maintains tracking systems with APHIS personnel reports and provides the status of readiness to the Branch Chief as needed.
