Supervisory Equal Opportunity Investigator (Deputy District Director)

Coordinates, monitors, and supervises investigations of all charges filed in the District, Field, Area, and Local Offices. Oversees the Charge Receipt/Technical Information Unit, which provides administrative and technical support to enforcement units for notice service, counseling, pre-charge interviews, and inquiry intake. Provides supervisory oversight of Enforcement Units conducting comprehensive investigations of employment discrimination charges from planning through analysis and reporting of findings. Oversees the Systemic Unit responsible for reviewing and recommending subjects for in-depth investigations of alleged pattern-or-practice employment discrimination. Ensures cases are investigated expeditiously, quality standards are maintained, appropriate legal theories are applied, and required timeframes are met. Oversees negotiated settlements and conciliation agreements between the EEOC and respondents and provides administrative oversight in addressing noncompliance.
