Systems Analyst

Analyzes IT needs and requirements, including data access and security, to design systems and recommend appropriate information security controls or application development approaches. Plans and coordinates system designs and development activities for an IT platforms and data access methodologies, including providing guidance to staff or contract personnel. Develops proposals to translate management objectives into IT application systems and reviews short- and long-range projects to improve the effectiveness of existing operational systems. Presents project status and technical information to stakeholders and prepares project documentation such as project plans, schedules, or statements of work.
