About the role
You will evaluate the performance of all assigned electronic and ATC systems. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on assigned systems IAW Planned Maintenance System (PMS), Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) Manual, Technical Manuals, Orders and Instructions. You will analyze, evaluate, and document maintenance actions. You will provide formal on the job training. You will perform and certify equipment modifications, field changes and/or the installation of new electronic systems. You will ensure that all meteorological, NAALS systems, and associated equipment are properly maintained within the mandated Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Inter-Service Engineering Agency (ISEA) guidelines. You will perform as a certifying authority for Air Traffic Control and Weather Systems; must obtain and maintain certification on at least three Air Traffic Control and/or Weather Systems.
