About the role

You will coordinate Navy environmental and sustainability policy with federal and state agencies. You will support the Navy's mission and environmental compliance within the Southeast region (including parts of EPA Regions 2, 4, 6, and 7). You will facilitate outreach initiatives between the Navy, regulatory agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other Department of War (DOW) services. You will research data and preparing reports, including executive summaries and success stories, for command leadership. You will provide operational environmental support to Fleet Forces Command. You will manage regulatory coordination, community interface, and range compliance for at-sea issues, ranges, and the introduction of new fleet assets. You will review projects and operations for potential environmental impacts on natural or cultural resources.
