About the role
You will support the Fleet Supply and Logistics department's ability to maintain audit readiness. You will participate in financial and logistic testing and surveys, review and evaluate resulting reports, and develop improvements or corrective action measures. You will coordinate with internal and external auditing communities to answer questions pertaining to financial statements, current/former audits, and system changes. You will represent CPF in meetings with various governmental offices and auditing organizations to ensure DON concerns are addressed. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the DON Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) program and the Navy Business Process Standards. You will write, edit, or make contributions to instructions and publications related to FIAR compliance.
