Nurse (Educator)

Develop, research, and present comprehensive plans for short- and long-range goals for future Professional Programs training. Develop and distribute annual training needs assessment surveys and customer evaluation forms to establish priorities for future continuing education and staff development activities. Develop lesson plans and training packets for continuing education credits. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for training development and design. Conduct staff assistance visits to ensure that the organization provides appropriate orientation and continuing education consistent with regulating guidelines. Supervise the work of training support personnel. Serve as a key professional development authority, responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and approving applications for funded training that is required to meet an employee’s position description.
