Information Technology Cybersecurity Specialist (Operating Systems)

Conducts continuing analyses of the design and function of the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM),Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF) Hunt Forward Operations (HFO) program cyber systems. Collaborates with Hunt Forward Operations (HFO) teams to conduct cyber incident mission response activities to ensure the teams make optimal use of IT infrastructure assets. Serves as a member of a Cyber Incident Response Team, providing Capability and Infrastructure planning, real-time operational support and technical advice and guidance. Monitors external data sources (cyber defense vendor sites, Computer Emergency Response Teams, Security Focus) to maintain currency of cyber defense threat conditions. Leverages IT expertise to assure that specialized and complex HFO architecture (servers, networks, and workstations) is organized into transportable kits for set-up at forward operating locations worldwide.
