Management Analyst

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-11. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. As a Management Analyst, you will: Exercise a high degree of resourcefulness and initiative in applying management principles and theories to achieve sound and effective recommendations. Identify weaknesses such as overlapping functions, duplication of effort, uneconomical workflow and distribution, and other inefficiencies within an operational and management area and develop courses of action for improvement or correction. Conduct management studies, review and develop procedures, and initiate methods to develop and improve measurement procedures for selected program areas.
