About the role

Planning, organizing, and directing a force of personnel engaged primarily with the preparation of geotechnical designs for flood control, navigation, and environmental projects. Conducting studies which require analytical conclusions in areas where available information is limited. Reviewing engineering data, available maps, soil profiles and boring logs to develop data pertaining to project area. Developing annual overhead budgets and managing execution of budgets to ensure the Branch operates with all necessary supplies. In the absence of the Branch Chief, signs letters, drawings, memos, etc. on behalf of the Branch.
