Realty Specialist

Prepares outgrants authorizing the temporary use of Government property to other Government agencies, state and political subdivisions and private individuals. Performs compliance inspections and ensures resolution of non-compliance issues in accordance with lease terms and conditions. Resolves encroachments on Government owned property in accordance with the district policy and appropriate laws and regulations. Screens excess properties with DoD, Federal, State, and local agencies, and processes requests for disposal in accordance with appropriate laws, regulations, and directives. Assures that all Real Estate actions are processed, and the files are documented, in accordance with all appropriate environmental laws and regulations. Acquires fee simple and easement interests in real property to support civil works and/or military missions, ensuring all transactions are executed in accordance with applicable federal laws, regulations, and agency directives.
