Library Technician

Performs serials check-in using the Integrated Library System) (ILS). Routes work to catalogers following established guidelines. Creates preliminary-level cataloging records in the ILS using a template and basic knowledge of national cataloging standards and local practices. Creates order records in the Integrated Library System (ILS) using agency documentation and following established guidelines. Processes incoming mail searches the Integrated Library System (ILS) for matching records and closes order records as needed.
