Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist

You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist and be responsible for serving as a supervisor of shared supply support services to the project lines involved with logistics, equipment and inventory management specialties. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Reviewing logistics support documents which pertain to inventory management, configuration changes, property management, etc. Supervising Contracting Officer Technical Representatives (COTR) for logistics initiatives under the cognizance of the Product Line Division Manager. Investigating logistics and logistics data management support problems reported by afloat and ashore activities. Reviewing proposed or approved regulations, requirements, planning documents, orders and similar materials. Monitoring logistics data management projects to assure appropriate Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) managers are aware of the impact on end users
