About the role

As a Supervisory Marine Biologist, you will perform the following duties: Supervise, lead, and manage staff through guidance, motivation, mentoring, outreach, innovation, vision and example. Oversee Program operations, including setting management measures or providing management-relevant scientific information, establishing, research priorities, managing Program budgets, and developing staffing plans. Oversee implementation of work under relevant statutes including the Magnuson Stevens Act, Endangered Species Act, Marine Mammal Protection Action, Coral Reef Conservation Act, and other relevant laws. Serve on international, domestic, and agency delegations, committees and working groups to provide management advice and scientific information and to share related issues and results.
