SOCIAL WORKER

Manages a comprehensive outpatient substance use disorders assessment and treatment program for active duty. Evaluate the gathered data to diagnose varying degrees of substance use disorders, create treatment plans, and assess the need for counseling or referrals to other specialists or institutions. Supervises all Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program (SARP) counselors; personnel consisting of GS, Contractors, or Active Duty Service Members. Assigns work to subordinates based on employee's capabilities, priorities and difficulty. Completes psychological, cognitive, and emotional assessment of patients through interview of the patient and gathering significant collateral information from others involved in the patient's life.
