Financial Specialist - DIRECT HIRE

As a Financial Specialist, you will: Develop and issue numerous recurring and special reports on financial issues related to the Federal Lands Highway Division (FLHD). Develop status information on obligations, effects of non-budgeted expenditures, and recommend appropriate action. Act as a technical resource on FHWA procedures and guidance on Federal laws, regulations, Executive Orders, and directive related to finance considerations applicable to FLHD. Participate from a financial perspective in a variety of financial, accounting, auditing and management information system improvement committees and teams related to FLHD organization. Collect, review, and analyze financial data from the official accounting system. Prepare various complex financial reports analysis, and other technical material.
