Review claims, correct billing errors, reconciling payments, analyzing denial trends, and ensuring compliance with DoD and DHA billing policies Review inpatient and outpatient medical documentation, verifies coding and ensures bills are accurate, complete, and submitted within required timeframes. Prepare bills, gather supporting medical documentation, and forward cases for legal processing. Maintains tracking spreadsheets and updates claim statuses. Communicates with patients, insurance companies, clinics, law enforcement, and other agencies to obtain or verify information, resolve billing issues, and explain entitlements or billing procedures. Use Automated office software to process claims. Troubleshoot system errors, coordinates with IT, and helps improve automation processes.
